Kick-Ass 2 4K 2013

The first part of "Kick-Ass" I unrealistically liked, the movie was cool and driving, filled with a lot of bright scenes. After watching it, it became clear that we should expect a sequel. And here, three years later comes the movie "Kick-Ass 2", which I was waiting for so much. Having watched it in the theater, I can say that I got what I expected in full.

When the picture was just in development and I found out that it will be shot by another director, and I thought how it would not hurt the movie. After a great first part led by Matthew Vaughn, I didn't want to see a mediocre second part. But thankfully, the change of director didn't affect the movie much, it just made it better. Jeff Wadlow was able to do a wonderful job, the movie came out no worse than the first part, in some places maybe even better. The atmosphere is preserved, the movie is very dynamic and bright. Well, the choice of the director was a good one, he knows how to make a really cool movie.

There is enough action, really quality action in the movie. All the scenes of fights, shootings, explosions are done at the best level. R rating is present, because without it there is nowhere. The soundtrack is also excellent, that in the first part, that here it is a very important component of the picture.

The role of Kick-Ass is again played by Aaron Taylor-Johnson, he played well, in comparison with the first part has already grown up more mature, became more responsible. But for me, as for many, the main thing in the picture was Chloë Grace Moretz. Appearing in "Kick-Ass" three years ago, she was able to impress many with the way she throws bad guys around, and that's just at the age of 12. Now she's grown up and is even better, even cooler. Now her career is on the upswing, she's become quite in demand. And that's a good thing, the more movies with her coming out, the better. Christopher Mintz-Plasse perfectly performed his negative role, the villain out of him came out that it is necessary, but in a rather unusual costume. Jim Carrey was very good in the image of Colonel Star-Spangled Banner, it's nice to see him on the screen, but he was made up in such a way that probably few people will recognize him. Olga Kurkulina performed the role of Mother Russia wonderfully. Very bright and memorable character she got. Of the other actors also remembered Donald Faison, Morris Chestnut and John Leguizamo.

"Kick-Ass 2" is an interesting, bright, powerful and cool movie, a great continuation of the first part. The director does a good job, the action is enough, the actors are great. I really enjoyed it, definitely one of the best movies of the summer. Looking forward to Kick-Ass 3.
