Ilsa, Harem Keeper of the Oil Sheiks 4K 1976

When I started thinking about which film to choose for a review on Nazi exploitation, I encountered one problem: the only film I had seen in this, so to speak, role, Ilsa, She Wolf of the SS, I had already reviewed in my time. No matter, there are sequels. But it so happened that the first of these sequels, Ilsa, Harem Keeper of the Oil Sheiks, retained only the general plot of the original, getting rid of the Nazi symbolism. Well, I had to accept this substitute, because the other similar examples, such as The Bloody Nights of the Gestapo, did not inspire much hope.
So, the second film about Ilsa.

Except for the change of location, everything else remained the same - torture, sadism, tons of nudity and blood, and, of course, Ilsa, played by the irreplaceable Dianna Thorn. The only additions to the plot are an oriental flavor and spy intrigue, but otherwise everything is quite familiar.

There is still plenty of blood. Torture, a gouged-out eye, man-eating ants... Any fan of torture will enjoy it. But it is interspersed with scenes that are not bloody, but simply repulsive, such as the ‘well-fed’ concubine, Ilsa's punishment by rape by a disgusting beggar or the sheikh's nephew, who is kept like an animal. None of this is appealing.

This is partially offset by the naked girls, who are naturally abundant here, but it should be remembered that any woman with attractive curves may end up in a torture device in the next scene, so even here, not everything is smooth sailing. In short, the situation with the first film repeats itself - the faint-hearted would be better off looking for something more peaceful.

The plot adds to all the other nonsense attempts at espionage, while ignoring the fact that Ilsa supposedly died in the first part, and without explaining how the action moved into the seventies (in fact, the time of the action is not mentioned, but judging by the modern airplane in one of the shots, it is clearly not the forties). At the end, there will be another uprising, but this time it will be initiated by Ilsa herself. This does not change the fact that in the finale, the villain will receive her deserved punishment.

In general, the sequel is slightly better than the original - it is more expansive, but the typical flaws of the series remain. Whether there is a fascist theme here or not, it is quite vivid, but purely amateur torture porn. In which there is actually more torture than porn itself. For me personally, this is a one-time movie.
