Tiger on Beat 4K 1988

A 1988 Hong Kong action film in the vein of *Lethal Weapon* the charismatic, laid-back cop Francis Lee (Chow Yun-fat) has spent years avoiding promotion, preferring to chase women rather than criminals. Everything changes when his superiors order him to partner up with a young, principled officer, Michael Tso (Conan Lee).

The two cops complete opposites: one a seasoned joker, the other serious and uncompromising are forced to work together to unravel a heroin trafficking case led by the ruthless crime boss Johnny Law. Following the trail, they track down a girl named Marydonna, whose brother was involved in the drug trade, and gradually expose the entire network. When the gangsters kidnap Francis’s sister, the partners have no choice but to go through with the exchange alone.

The film is best remembered for its finale crazy, non-stop, and inventive. It features Chow Yun-fat’s signature stunt with a shotgun on a rope, as well as a chainsaw duel between Conan Lee and Shaw Brothers legend Gordon Liu one of the most spectacular scenes in the history of Hong Kong cinema.
