Sherpa 2015

The program will tell how the Sherpa people survived the tragedy of April 18, 2014, when an avalanche killed 16 people. This story will be told to us by guides, their families and climbers who were preparing for the ascent when the accident happened. You will see an event of historic proportions, a tragedy that was a turning point for the entire Everest climbing industry and for the Sherpa guides who had to consider whether working on the mountain was worth the risk.
