Sooner or later we all get tired of our work. Someone earlier, someone later. But Michael Brice was tired just ahead of time. Of course, it might have something to do with his job ... as a hitman's bodyguard. Yes, his nerves suffered a lot during the difficult work, but now it's over! No more adventures and dangers! A good psychotherapist, warm sun and a good book will help fight this. Well, it's also great music. Finally, you can relax and feel like a human being. But, apparently, it's still too early to rejoice. I wonder why Michael so annoyed fate that she is now taking revenge on him? A relaxing holiday is interrupted by an unexpected gunfight between mafiamen or worse right on the beach. Michael finds himself in the hands of an extremely fighting lady, who requires him to become her assistant aka a bodyguard. Yes, yes, it does. Therefore, Michael does not have much choice (or he soothes himself so much). But no one could have imagined that fate loves to joke so much that this lady will turn out to be the wife of that same killer from the distant past of Bryce - Darius Kincaid. In short, you have to remember the good old days and again take this path, and do not care what the psychotherapist says about it) But the campaign now has to be not only Sonya's bodyguard, but also a real guardian angel of their relationship with Darius.
Oh, how pleased this film is with its cast. I have no idea who could have played Michael Bryce as organically as Ryan Reynolds. Well, it's very difficult to describe it in words - you only need to see and hear his antics and gags. I generally keep quiet about Samuel Jackson, here it is clear that humor is his theme. Salma Hayek in the film is just fire. Despite the fact that she is far from young, here she is just a kick-ass woman with a gorgeous appearance and a lighter character. It's also cool that he and Banderas finally starred in the same film after Desperate. It's cool to see these actors breathe new life into them. Another big plus is that Reynolds and Jackson play very cool in a duet, as they managed to work together in the first part of "The Hitman's Bodyguard". Most likely, on the site itself, they celebrated themselves relaxedly with each other, so they managed to pin each other up on the topic.
You can talk endlessly about how cool it is to savor a movie. No matter how clichéd it may be, but all these pistols, evil geniuses, explosions, cool cars, dark glasses and fights directly deliver ... Here you look and "savor" all this American aesthetics of bandits. It is clear that this is all exaggerated, and everything is different in life, but it is simply impossible to take your eyes off this picture.
I really liked the film, so I'm not afraid to say that it really deserves to be watched not only by fans of this genre, but also by everyone who does not know whether to watch. Many moments are simply impossible to forget, and jokes are just disruptive. In general, Patrick Hughes pleased us with his "The Bodyguard of the Killer's Wife".
