Truffaut filmed the final part of Antoine Doinel's story, which began with the excellent 400 Blows. Between them at the same pace, but with great emotions were: the almanac "Love at 20", and the feature films "Stolen Kisses", "Family Hearth".

But the film can hardly be called "final", "putting an end" - Antoine confesses his love, he hid it for a long time and it was through this that he almost lost his beloved. The picture is fascinating, it is very pleasant to look at. Although many scenes from the previous films of the movie series are used (they are inserted as a memory), but this only beats the form of the story. And for those who have not watched the previous films, they will not even doubt that this is one whole and complete story.
