I can't say anything bad about the movie. Everyone should not say that the film was a failure. I think everyone on the crew did a good job.
You may ask, why did the movie come out like that? The fact that the game itself does not abound in the plot and anyhow the storyline, the game is quite primitive. That's what they tried to make a story out of all this, and in fact, did what they could. Nothing more can be squeezed out of it.
Then another question arises, why take it all down? But everyone knows that Doom was practically the ancestor not only of its genre, after which it gained recognition, but games in general. So sooner or later it had to be adapted. It's even strange, why it happened so late, after the same Resident Evil (quite good), because Doom deserved to be the first one on the screen!
It was this difficult task that went to Bartkowiak and Co., deserving of praise. In the end, a pretty good team, showed a pretty good result! And a check mark against the Doom screenplay stands.
So the next games are lined up, the final word rests with the producers, who in my opinion, so far, not inspired by such box office.
