I've waited 13 years for this movie and I can say with certainty that the wait was worth it! Clerks 3 will never come close to the already iconic first film among true fans, but it's worth the wait. Getting ahead of ourselves I must say that those who expect from the third part only an abundance of 'toilet' jokes - surely will remain unsatisfied after watching it. But the presence of references and nostalgia moments will be a pleasant balm for true admirers of the old Kevin Smith's creativity. You can see that the director put his heart into his work.
The third film is much more touching and dramatic than its predecessors. Staying true to his style Kevin Smith changed his approach a little bit, and if you are a true fan of his works - this movie will not leave you indifferent. It was great to see the good old actors returning to their roles after all these years. In the final part, Dante Hicks and Randall Graves reveal themselves fully to the audience from all their sides. It's great that Kevin Smith kept his word and made this picture to the delight of the fans. And thanks to Brian O'Halloran and especially to Jeff Anderson, who has long refused to return to the role of his character, for taking part in this project. The film came out somewhat different from what I imagined it would be. Old Smith managed to both surprise and move me. And isn't that the mark of a good movie?
