Jeepers Creepers: Reborn 4K 2022

And someone thought it was better than the third picture. God, it's not a movie, it's some kind of sexless obscenity. If someone asked me how you could ruin the legacy of a cult film, I'd point to this project as an example.

'Jeepers Creepers: Reborn' is hackneyed to the bone. It's not even that this *shit on a stick is only a key character in Victor Salva's stories. The problem is the written script, or rather the lack thereof. Where's the script? Every 23 years, yes. Twenty-three whole days of hunting, yes. So what of it? The Jeepers Creepers parade. It's like a Hellfest... Some cardboard sectarians loom from time to time, preparing something for themselves, worshipping the 'deity' in the person of our Creeper, somewhere in the background. The main character, whose role in the script is due to the fact that she is pregnant and the germ in her belly needed by Jeepers Creepers himself. Like an old rooster pulling out his claws to grow new ones. He must have been reborn or rejuvenated. It's not clear who he was talking to. But sectarians know exactly the time, the person and the place. Apparently, they have a telepathic connection with their 'Hazein'. Well, no... they have everything by the book, exactly. There's an 'anti-biblical' book for everything. This is also somewhere behind the scenes, by the way.

In the end, the movie boils down to the two main 'protagonists' and the four extras being 'fished out' by an excursion to an old estate, locking them there alone with, guess who? That's right. Oh yeah, that's every horror movie fan's 'fantasy limit' and, in particular, Victor Salva's universe: to watch a lousy third-rate horror movie. You get 15-20 minutes of carnival, you get minute interruptions for visions of the main character, you get sectarians who come from nowhere, you get 'Jeepers Creepers', a refugee from Somalia with pizza smeared all over his face.

Bottom line: this is a complete disaster, ladies and gentlemen. I don't recommend this insulting cesspool to anyone, which cannot even be called a complete work of art on its own.
