Well, what can I say... The third part of "Rocky" was a little different from the first two.
The first 2 films were all about the American dream - everyone has a chance to get fame and respect. They were like a common whole, complementary to each other. Young Stallone, life at the bottom, the trademark hat...was a nobody and became everything. Very contrasting...awakening faith in the best and a desire to strive for the goal, to achieve it.
The third film is different. Rocky has already established himself, won more than one fight, has a fancy house, car, family, fame. It would seem that the goal is achieved... Gone is the old zeal and lust. Gone is the "look of the tiger"...
All the heroes grow old... Feeling fear for the first time, fear not so much for himself, but fear of losing loved ones, fear of making mistakes, he now sees the world in a different way. The film is permeated by the hero's heartfelt experiences. To get out of a difficult situation to help his wife and... a former rival, Apollo Green, who becomes a close friend of Rocky. Together they overcome difficulties, resurrect the "look of the tiger. It is worth noting that Rocky's skill as a boxer in Part 3 has increased tremendously. Apollo gave him what he lacked - speed, mobility, agility.
The film is imbued with a kindness and warmth...
I can't help but mention the soundtrack - the song Survivor - Eye of the Tiger runs beautifully through the entire line of the film!
All the heroes grow old...but not in our hearts!
