The idea of the movie 'Creed 3' is quite workable, although it reminds the plot of the third part of the legendary 'Rocky' about an evil bully who dreamed of being a champion. The whole problem with the movie is that the writers didn't use the obvious potential of their own plot. The main antagonist was behind prison walls most of his life, dreaming of a championship belt every day. After his release in his first fight, he shows impressive dirty boxing, which could have been the main thing for the new part. But in the final fight the authors for some reason drain all the originality, turning the fight into a classic brawl without any trimmings. To defeat his opponent, the coach of the protagonist chose the method of increasing physical strength, as it was in 'Rocky 4'. He could have invited a specialist in prison boxing with skills in inflicting various injuries, so that the main battle was like a real life-and-death bloody fight in the spirit of bare-knuckle fighting. It would have been a breath of fresh air for the franchise. But instead, two dudes just got in the ring, just waved their fists, and one ended up stupidly knocking out the other. No intrigue, no empathy, nothing. To me, this is almost the most boring fight of the entire franchise. Also, there is no development of the character as a person in the story. He doesn't face any family, professional or mental difficulties. He is literally doing great, although the authors kind of hinted at remorse over a childish transgression, but the movie shows it as if the hero did not betray his friend, but merely stepped on his foot and did not apologize. In general, the film is weak and superficial without any novelty or originality. It is a pity that such shoddy movies are repulsed at the box office, because it unties the hands of the creators for further stamping of bad movies.
