Cry-Baby is a cult musical comedy film directed by John Waters and released in 1990. Set in the 1950s, it tells the story of a teenager nicknamed Cry-Baby, played by Johnny Depp. He is the leader of a group of "Draps", young people who reject the norms of society. Crybaby falls in love with Alison, a girl from a "decent" family. Their forbidden love leads to a conflict between the two worlds, raising issues of social inequality and stereotypes.
