All of them are waiting for an unforgettable adventure, filled with horrors and approaching death.

'April Fool's Day' is an underrated slasher. Some will say, after watching it, that there are better slashers made at the time. Like 'Halloween' or 'Friday the 13th', for example. But don't you notice that these are quite ordinary classic genre movies, however outstanding, and mostly also benefit from wide distribution and good budgets? And there are unnoticed excellent representatives of the genre, worthy of better memory and public attention.

This movie was very intriguing to watch. It is filmed simply, but at the same time peerlessly. The actors are very talented and sexy, looking at them and their game, you can feel their youth. In addition, the plot cultivates sex, which fuels the overall tension. If you take it all apart, everything here is based on three whales - testosterone, fear and laughter. Inventive.

Each plot twist brings new surprises. Each time you try to anticipate the next setup - and still you are surprised. However, one should not forget the theme of the movie. The ending because of the created sharp situations becomes really unpredictable - and it can be predicted, if you do not lead.

This is the kind of movie that is lacking nowadays. Producers are chasing special effects, forgetting about a good script. As a result, the genre of the next modern opus sometimes becomes difficult to call - neither fish nor flesh. In the case of 'Fool's Day' - strong horror, strong comedy, strong detective. And it is in the mix. It's not enough to add 'thriller'. So the impression is complete.
