Last Christmas 4K 2019

Every year, in December, we, the whole country, go to the movie theater for New Year's premieres. Unfortunately, lately, our filmmakers have stopped trying, completely losing the holiday spirit that used to bring us a little miracle. In the absence of local competition, the right to find their audience is given to other movie studios. This time they decided to treat the viewer to a melodramatic story about a young store worker with Christmas decorations and gifts and a guy named Tom.

Their life lines accidentally cross and together they overcome all the difficulties on the way to the true goal. Kate has changed a lot, after a hard life experience, and now feels half dead. The girl drowns out her thoughts with alcohol abuse and simply lack of any interest in what is happening. A sudden encounter makes her feel alive again, after quite some time. The way of finding oneself is clearly demonstrated through the views on life, own position, realizing the right path for her career future and revising her own attitude towards people close to her. All this creates an uncomplicated moral in the form of: you should be good, help each other and appreciate what you have. It seems to be an ordinary meaning, but the way it is realized makes it special in this particular case.

The story itself follows a paved path towards a bright future. It captivates with its simple and heartfelt dialogues, regularly diluting the information field with humorous inserts. The humor, built on the heroine's unconventional image and disconnected views on ordinary things, looks so close to society that it causes laughter or a pleasant smile on a regular basis. What's worth it just for the funny references to the movie and pop industry. For example, Kate tells perhaps the best interpretation of the plot of the cartoon 'Cold Heart'. Of course, there are some unpleasant jokes below the belt, but they were not as many as in typical comedies of modern cinematography.

At the same time, the picture does not lag behind the main character and finds an even middle, when together with preferences and attitudes change. If the first half of the movie can be characterized as funny, flighty, driving; the second half is more suitable for the word - meaningful. It is this period of time that accounts for the most reflection, inner turmoil, and slow-motion action. It very well demonstrates the very rebuilding of the heroine as a person, and the finale will surprise almost every viewer seated at the screens.

Throughout the movie, positive views were directed at only one Emilia Clarke. In addition to the fact that she was allotted more time, gave a wonderful and interesting image, she also played so that during the viewing forget about the 'mother of dragons' and see only a good-natured elf under a repulsive outer shell. Emilia is a wonderful actress and I wish her only more discerning choice of full-length works in which she takes part. Talent should be channeled in the right direction!

New Year's beauty was marked by simple streets, filled 'upside down' with the problems of society, to which it is customary to turn a blind eye. In the movie we will not see rich representatives of the upper class, but we will contemplate ordinary people with everyday problems, and most importantly with a good heart. At night the streets are in disorder, and during the day - a lot of people who do not have their own cozy one-room corner, are forced to survive as only they can. It is good that there are good people in our world, who do things gratuitously and with good intentions.
