Now it's the turn of “Wolf Man” (it's unclear why not “Astral: The Curse of Our Wolf Werewolf in the Second Generation”), also a chamber story with a minimum of characters, one main location and a big problem. It's also tucked into the confines of one long night.

Horror here is minimal, so you won't be able to gather a huge company to laugh and boo in each other's ears. Serious drama prepared by Lee Whannell, clearly noticeable reflections of “The Shining” and “The Fly”. How can a woman accept the fact that the man she once loved is gradually turning into an alien creature driven only by the killer instinct. In general, from his previous movie about Invisible the director has not gone far. Again the man is a danger, and the woman has to throw off the shackles of a defenseless sheep and enter the battle. All the more so with her underage daughter by her side, whom she rescues.

But then, when the situation takes an irreversible turn, she's already in the foreground, holding her own with confidence. If it weren't for the vermicelli on her head, she'd be a ten out of ten. A moderately ambitious Wolf Man will occupy your evening.
