The reins were taken away from Neuseller and handed over to Indonesian martial arts master Tim Tjajanto. Odenkirk is handsome, and the film hasn't changed much in essence, but it has lost the intrigue of family ties, a touch of humor, and atmospheric charisma. Perhaps the charisma was relevant to a certain audience because of the distinctive actors. But the first film had this dramatic idea about the dual nature of the main character, which created a certain charm, while the second part only had strong family values and mass murders.
The plot. The main character, understood and accepted by his family, works off his debt to the mafia. The mediator in this is the Barber. How and why this happened is unclear, and it doesn't really matter. The logic of actions and circumstances in this film is not particularly important. Nobody periodically commits mass murders on order and at some point burns out. He decides to take his family to the water park where his father used to take him as a child. His father, by the way, was once a killer himself. Everything seems to be going well at the water park, but then a conflict arises with a local big shot, leading to bodily harm. And, as always, the main character breaks the law against state property in the form of banknotes and incurs the wrath of another vicious gang, led by the heroine Sharon Stone. And again, there is ultra-violence, explosions, fights, shootings, and mountains of corpses.
In general, the character Nobody is interesting for his humanity. He does everything through physical suffering and seems to be at the limit of his abilities. But at the same time, it is absolutely clear that no one will be able to stop him. The film is forgettable, the plot is quickly forgotten, but as an action movie it is quite good and the cast is interesting. Just what you need for an evening.
