That's right, guys. There's nothing to say, just nothing. When I watched it a couple of months ago, I gasped. I agree, the masterpieces of world cinema were nowhere to be found here. It's just an entertaining comedy action movie. I watched it, relaxed, and forgot about it. But I liked it so much!
I admit, I love films from the 80s and 90s, that is, from my childhood, and I admit that lately I've been slightly obsessed with Hong Kong nonsense, and I'm guilty of that. Nevertheless, there's no denying that Winners and Sinners is a good movie with pleasant, gentle humor and countless funny stunts.
Sammo Hung and his friends entertain us to the fullest. I remember when I was a child, this film was shown on TV as part of a Jackie Chan retrospective. At the time, I think I was disappointed and didn't watch it to the end. There really isn't much of Chan here. He has a small role as a policeman who is constantly unlucky. He must have been invited to the film just for his name. Well, or out of friendship.
Otherwise, if you don't nitpick about what I said above, the film turned out to be very, very watchable. It's easy to understand and moderately funny. And Sammo's song about the teapot is something else. I was literally rolling on the floor laughing.
Special respect to the Chinese for the triumphant appearance of our Stolichnaya on screen. It really burns! And setting fire to the mafia boss's henchmen with it is a piece of cake.
So, you may have guessed that our brave guys, who were recently released after serving their sentences, are in for some interesting adventures. This means that Winners and Sinners is a film that can and should be watched with a smile, and you won't regret it.
