Eric is a young man who perceives the real world through the characters of his favorite movies. He often recites their monologues in conversation and evaluates every situation through their eyes—wondering what they would do in that situation. One day, a string of misfortunes befalls him, leading to an accidental murder. From then on, the murders take on a planned nature, and each one becomes unique.
Every movie fan should watch this film to avoid becoming a fanatic like him. Mickey Rourke plays one of Eric’s victims in the film, and it is precisely in his character’s quest for revenge that the film’s “blunder” becomes apparent—a device simulating a wound is visible under Rourke’s shirt.
Overall, the film ultimately turned out to be a typical low-budget thriller.
