According to the creators of this animated misunderstanding, Andy in 1995 was a young man of not far mental ability. Otherwise, how else to explain his love for such a character. The problem is not at all Buzz's friendship with a lesbian who raises his son with his girlfriend and gets reports of failed trials before he's old. The main problem is that this is not Buzz Lightyear at all, with his comicism, loyalty and mutual assistance. There was no need to make a separate movie about the character, and if we were to create a project, it would not tease the franchise's loyal fans with hackwork. All that was left was to make Woody a black cowboy and play Jesse's wedding to Stinky Pete. What's to celebrate, let's celebrate.
Ha-ha Buzz 2022! If Buzz 1999 had seen you, running away from the evil bespectacled man and desperately fighting Zurg in the elevator. He would have laughed at your grimacing and self-deprecation in front of your lesbian grandmother's granddaughter in front of the criminal and the strange man who is the most extreme here and generally out of place. Buzz Lightyear wouldn't be that beloved adventure hunter ranger without the support of this weirdo. Are you serious?
The now popular multi-universe stories have found their application here as well, devaluing the quadrilogy's meaningful phrase Zurg-I'm your father, Buzz. There is no Zurg. There is just another, outdated version of the Ranger. boring, predictable, and tarnishing the image of Emperor Zurg.
A talentless and completely unnecessary prequel to the character, which, however, even the most devoted fans of the quadrology and a number of short animated films will not take seriously, and whose box office grosses inspire hope that we will see fewer such projects. Buzz Lightyear 2022 will not destroy the memory of Andy's great toy adventures.
