A city called Monstropolis exists only in an alternative reality, but its inhabitants are not worried about it. They get energy for their city through the screams of human children. To do this, the city has built a power plant called Monsters Inc. This company employs monsters who sneak into the real world and scare the kids. These monsters with special bottles are hiding under beds, in closets, in storage rooms, and any dark places. The system works only if the children stay in their real world, and do not penetrate a parallel reality. But despite all the strictest precautions, one little girl manages to penetrate Monstropolis. She gets into a monster power plant. The little girl makes a mess in the restaurant and causes power outages in the city. Two good-natured residents of Monstropolis, start looking for a way to bring the girl home because her parents are looking for her.
