Cutie and the Boxer 2013

A movie about a married couple, artist Ushio Shinohara and his wife Noriko, living in New York. Ushio paints unusual paintings by beating the canvas with boxing gloves, which he dips in paint before striking. Noriko has her own view of art, and her opinion of her husband's work is often at odds with the author's, but she is always supportive of Ushio. Struggling to rid herself of her overbearing husband's assistant role, Noriko finds her own purpose.
