I can say that the Saw: Spiral movie managed to surprise me, that I liked how the filmmakers skillfully confused the traces of who the killer is, it would seem that it is already clear who the villain is, but no, they managed to keep the intrigue to the end. As for the new traps, I can't say that they turned out to be extremely inventive, I think they were more interesting in the previous films, but here they were undoubtedly creepy.

In terms of the development of the plot, the action of the film is developing quite rapidly, the timing of the film is not too long, therefore, as they say "there is no time to pickle", the murders go one after another, as for the main character played by Chris Rock, he is such a rather impulsive person, while he is a good cop , who stands up for his work, when the murders begin and he gets into a whirlpool of events, it is interesting to watch his character with the help of flashbacks before us reveal the essence of the hero, his principles, thus it is impossible not to worry about him. To be honest, the actor Chris Rock opened up for me a completely new side, because I remember him from his roles in comedies, and here he played a completely different type, of course, there were some jokes, but still here he has a rather serious role, one might say partly dramatic.
