Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile 4K 2022

At first, when I looked at the poster of this movie 'My pet crocodile' I laughed a lot and this poster gave me positive emotions, even without watching the trailer (by the way, I never watched the trailer), and when I saw who starred in the movie, my emotions were unlimited, the movie stars Javier Bardem and Constance Wu (who I liked a lot in 'Crazy Rich Asians' and in the TV series 'Difficult to assimilate').

Javier Bardem plays the role of a showman and magician ala illusionist named Hector, one day in a store he happened to notice a little singing crocodile and he immediately gave him the name Lyle and decided it would be a good opportunity to travel around the country and gather an audience and make money with a singing crocodile, but once Lyle fell into a stupor, Hector had to change his plans and go 'free-riding' alone for a while.

Meanwhile, the Primm family, mother (Constance Wu), father (Scoot McNary) and son (Winslow Fegley), move to New York. Their young son Josh has a hard time adapting to the big city and to his new school, but then, to Josh's surprise, he meets Lyle in the attic of his house (yes, yes, as I wrote above, Hector has 'gone free-wheeling' for a while).

The movie pays attention to the fact how lonely kids can sometimes be and how they sometimes miss having a good friend around, in Josh's case that friend turned out to be Lyle. Lyle gave Josh a lot of positivity and confidence, and not only him, Josh's mother also had a chance to meet Lyle, as did Josh's father, the fight scene in the attic looked very funny.

Another very important motif of the film is family and family values, because why would Lyle need all these performances when he just wants to have his own cozy home, and at this point Josh acted as the voice of reason.

The movie has a lot of interesting sweet sweet and emotional scenes at the same time, I'm not even talking about the beautiful songs that Lyle performed (the role of Lyle and his voice acting was done by Shawn Mendes).

All the actors performed their roles to perfection, especially Javier Bardem, Constance Wu and Winslow Fegley.

'My pet crocodile' is a cool cute family very positive movie that won't leave anyone indifferent.
