The Hills Have Eyes 4K 1977

I watched this film on videotape. I believe that slashers of the 70-80s of the last century should be watched in this quality, because on videotapes there is a terrible translation and distorted music, and this, as it seems to me, only complements the atmosphere of horror. Therefore, when watching it, it seemed to me that I lived in the 90s, when in Russia such films had just begun to be shown in video salons and similar places.

As for the film itself, I was convinced that even on a small budget, you can shoot a masterpiece. Because there are few special effects in such films, but more of a creepy atmosphere that causes fear. This movie is interesting, scary and violent.

If we compare this picture with a remake, then I will give my preference to the original. The remake has a lot of blood, but no atmosphere at all. Because of this, watching the remake is not scary, but simply not pleasant.
