Now, being still impressed by what I saw, I can exaggerate, but it seems to me that 'Spy, get out!' is one of the best spy movies ever made. Despite the fact that I like a completely different spy romance - with chases, shootings, gallant special agents who lay dozens of enemies with one hand, while hugging a beauty with the other or raising a glass to her health ...

Why is this 'Spy ...' so catchy? First of all, the atmosphere. I have never met such a rich, stifling atmosphere of mutual suspicion and secrets literally anywhere else. Everyone can turn out to be an enemy, and it will not be possible to cope with him with one shot. On the one hand, there are enthusiasts in their field, fanatics who are ready to risk their lives to expose a traitor. On the other hand, at least the same indifferent bosses that the deputy minister embodies, calmly spreading butter on a slice of bread while the talk is about the Third World War. I'm not ready to judge whether this is the case in the espionage craft, but it looks extremely believable.

Besides, they are great actors. Yes, it's sad to see the beautiful Gary Oldman in the guise of a wise old man, and Colin Firth in his peers ... But they played just brilliantly! And it should be noted the young (or relatively young) generation - Benedict Cumberbatch, Mark Strong, Tom Hardy, Stephen Graham ... Almost all the color of British actors came together in this picture. And yes, an amazing fact, Svetlana Khodchenkova does not spoil her at all - in her few scenes she is in no way inferior to the same Tom Hardy.

And although the film turned out to be very sad, a picture where the duty of a professional is constantly and usually extremely unpleasantly intertwined with personal, with emotions and feelings, 'Spy ...' is what you need to raise your spirits. Firstly, thanks to an unexpected ending in almost every sense. And secondly, because emerging from this gloomy atmosphere into your ordinary life, you feel incredible relief.

The only pity is that they are not going to continue filming.
