To say right away I liked the film 100%. Such a realistic play of young actors deserves respect, the atmosphere of black quarters is clearly conveyed.
The script of the film, it seems to me, is taken from someone's life, filled with bright events of change, struggle with oneself and others on the streets of Harlem in the early 90s.
To be honest, I myself am a fan of African American culture, the pioneers of 'Gangsta Rap' and in this case Tupac, one of the most legendary rappers of the 20th century. None of the living performers (with the exception of such giants as Ice T) are unlikely to be able to at least resemble the above creators, the current Mega stars such as 50 Cent, Busta Rhymes and others are just a shadow, a pitiful likeness, incomparable with the departed era, happy 80s and 90s!
In general, I recommend to all fans of this genre!
