I saw this movie two weeks ago, but I'm still very much impressed.
Berlin. One of my favorite cities. Beautiful architecture, friendly people. When you wander around the city, it doesn't even occur to you that life is the same everywhere: cruel and hard.
At times, scenes from a movie appear before your eyes, and goosebumps run down your spine. Everything is based on true events. Even the names of the characters have not been changed. The fear of knowing what is happening. The pain. Drugs ruined the lives of these children, while they could have become doctors who would have saved thousands of lives, journalists who would have written articles worthy of the most prestigious awards, artists and poets, creating masterpieces, but they would not be anyone, because heroin got in their way.
The girl for whom this story is being told is Christina. She is only 14 years old, but she has already gone through all the circles of hell. In the end she tries to get out of it. She tries to start a new life. But... no such thing as an ex-addict.
