None of the 'Death Wish' sequels have risen to the level of the Original.
But each film is very good in its own way. This film is a very good thriller with action elements.
The plot is not very original - Charles Bronson takes revenge on the killers of his daughter - in the morning he goes to work, meets a woman, but at night he turns into a cruel executioner of the underworld.
Undoubtedly, the film hangs on to the magnificent Bronson. The ruthless look in his gray eyes is the last thing the scumbags see before they die:
- Do you believe in God? - Bronson asks the scoundrel.
- Yes...
- Soon you will meet Him.
Shoots.
The music, by the way, is not bad, reminiscent of 'Terminator', a nomination for the 'Golden Raspberry' is not deserved.
Bottom line: to all fans of '80s action movies, and Bronson in particular.
