The Craft 4K 1996

What a cute movie. It is nice, it reminds me of the good old 'Charmed'. I understand that this movie was actually the prototype, because it was released not long before that and the plot is similar. I was especially touched by the song in the movie, which soon became the title song of the cult series.

The atmosphere of the film is great. Despite the modest budget and technical imperfection, because it was filmed almost 20 years ago, it is very interesting to watch. No argument, as I said before, nostalgia plays a big role. The whole movie is imbued with the spirit of the 90's, something we have seen before in many TV series. But it's worth noting the acting. The main four girls are great, each with her own character, style, manners. I want to mention Neve Campbell, who is one of the cult personages for the youth of the end of the century for her role as Sidney Prescott in the 'Scream' trilogy.

Even though the special effects in the movie are primitive, it still looks cool. I was especially struck by the fact that they shot real snakes at the end of the movie, which were brought to the set in large numbers.

I actually stumbled upon this movie by accident after seeing a commercial on TV. But very glad that I watched it. I recommend it, dive into a world of cheap but groovy special effects, 'Bewitched' style witch stories. I'm sure it will evoke nostalgia if you loved something similar as a child.
