Shaft 4K 1971

Detective John Shaft must find the kidnapped daughter of the king of Harlem's gangsters. This is the genre I've written about before, blaxploitation. The sex and violence in the film are professionally and seamlessly integrated into the plot. Isaac Hayes received an Oscar for his impeccable music in the film.

I think this film is the best of its genre. Robert Roundtree's performance was unmatched. The director of the film, Gordon Parks, directed the film very well and professionally, which proves to be a feature film.

After watching the movie, it just makes you want to be black, and especially detective Shaft. Shaft is a black, sexy, cool and memorable hero. The kind of movie Shaft is not to be overlooked.
