A little-known but kind of cult movie. It is considered one of the first slashers, although Texas Chainsaw Massacre was released ten days earlier in the same year.
The story is simple: a maniac infiltrates a sorority house, calls the common telephone first and says all sorts of obscenities (cunt, for example), then quietly starts killing the girls.
The movie is a bit boring. It is, for modern people, a total dystopia. But it has its charms. No, it is not the charms of the girls who live in the dorm (spoiler: there are none here at all). First of all, the voice of the maniac, which combines several voices and is capable of inflicting creepiness. Secondly, a subjective camera that allows you to look at the world through the eyes of a maniac. Yes, the Italians already used this in their jallos, but it's always interesting to get into the skin of a scumbag.
I enjoy watching old movies like this. And oddly enough, it's not just the genre, but the material on which the film was shot. This is a film that has a special magic - the dull colors, the grain, the flair! Ugh, I got excited from listing these things. And now let's take modern B-movies shot on digital. They look plastic (although sometimes this plasticity is also very appropriate).
