The movie pleasantly surprised me.
Of course, the special effects and decorations of the mid-sixties look funny today, the characters behave completely illogically, and the dialogues are rather silly.
But the movie is well shot (not just anyone, but the legendary Italian director Mario Bava), the plot is interesting, and the lead actor plays quite decently.
Overall, it's a pretty silly, by modern standards, but a rather charming and memorable film. If you are interested in old movies and love sci-fi, I recommend checking it out.
P. S. The title of the movie is 'Planet of the Vampires' and by the way, it doesn't correspond to the truth - there are no vampires in the movie.
