Immediately after the scandalous 'Cannibal Holocaust', Ruggero Deodato takes on another very provocative film. In his film he decided to reinterpret Wes Craven's 'Last House on the Left'. The two films even have overlapping titles, and Deodato has also invited David Hess, the main assassin from Craven's film, to play the lead role in his film.
The focus is on two young men who behave very aggressively (can hit, rape, kill), especially with women. One day they are invited to a party at a very rich house. As a matter of fact, it is this party that becomes the basis of the movie narrative.
Further events should by no means be retold, as any information can drastically reduce interest in the film.
The entire cast played beautifully, but the undeservedly forgotten David Hess stands out against their background. As Alex (by the way, a direct reference to 'A Clockwork Orange'), Hess is very convincing. His role continues the images of assassins he created in Craven's 'Last House on the Left' and Campanile's 'The Companion: Bloody Autostep'.
