An advanced race decided to hide from everyone by ridding themselves of technology. In return, the universe itself granted them almost eternal life. This made someone jealous who wanted to take 'eternity' away from the good creatures.
'Like a rabbit in a fairy tale' that you want to get out of
The walk through the fairy-tale green world is interrupted by flights into space and some StarTrek character jokes. There's even a Noah's Ark of sorts, from the world of the future. But there is nothing supernormal, except for the main intrigue of the film, which the viewer does not even guess about until the time, but is still waiting out of habit.
There are good shots of battles, very rare, in this half-space sai-fi. Lots of philosophical musings of various sorts. Lust, love and hate, peace and war.
What the film lacks is more intrigue and more varied battles in spaceships. Even charismatic aliens and villains in general are missing.
