The final installment in the misadventures of the stubborn John, who loves carving up crowds of bad guys.
The franchise deserves at least some respect for the fact that with each new film it visibly increases its momentum and scope. In this installment, the film achieves an even greater scale, changing one location after another, lavishing John's path with hundreds of dead bodies.
Once again, Keanu cheats, knocking out a code for immortality and squinting enemies who shoot everything they can except the main character, but here you should just accept these rules of the game and enjoy the endless gunfights and face-offs. Moreover, the merit of the franchise is that it has successfully revived the action movie genre and brought it to a new level.
The picture once again offers a dynamic and dizzying action, where there is literally no time to gather your thoughts or breathe on the sidelines. The main character even has time to be accepted into the clan, christening him first Russian, then Cossack, but eventually settled on the Belarusian.
Moral: do not anger the Russian-Belarusian Cossack John, if you do not want to be riddled with bullets.
In the end, "John Wick" is not about a twisted plot, it's about a crazy, brutal, driving ride for over two hours.
