A crime story based on real events was filmed by Ridley Scott in the mid-2000s. American Gangster UHD has two main characters. A classic mobster and an honest cop. They have completely different views on life, but there's also something that unites them. Both major heroes go straight to their goal and don't see any obstacles in their way. The driver of an influential mobster gets to create his own criminal empire. His boss is killed and nothing stops Frank from becoming an independent figure in the underworld. Frank chooses the most profitable, but also the most dangerous path. He starts distributing drugs on city streets. The gangster offers his clients high-quality drugs at the lowest price in town. With his competitors Frank is tough, and he's talking to them with guns. Business is going well, the former driver is already a millionaire and a very respectable man in town. But there is one honest cop who can't be corrupted. Richard Roberts does not take bribes and will do everything possible to put in prison a powerful drug dealer.
