Twisters 4K 2024

Twisters' is a perfect example of a massive summer ride. Don't let the number 2 in the title scare you, because you don't have to see the movie from '96 to understand the story. The only thing in common here is the theme of natural disasters.

When I saw the cast, I was immediately sold on the movie. Daisy Edgar-Jones' first big-budget role. If you haven't seen her work in 'Normal People', believe me, you're missing out. And keeping her company is Hollywood's new Mr. 'Best Smile' - Glen Powell. The man's career has taken off at the speed of light. And I'm very happy about it. And directing it all is Lee Isaac Chung, who four years ago made an Oscar-winning movie about Korean migrants - 'Minari'. It turns out a stunning leap happened from a picture with a budget of 2 million to 155 million dollars. Respectable. It was impossible not to get a hit with such a team of professionals.

The movie tells the story of two groups that are in a race to hunt for tornadoes. The goal of the first is to learn how to level its effect. And the second are idle streamers who shoot shows about natural phenomena.

The movie immediately picked up momentum from the opening scene and didn't slack off, increasing the sense of chase and the word capturing me in the vortex of the tornado. It turned out to be as fun and zany as possible. I wouldn't be surprised if the creators took advice from Tom Cruise on making box office summer blockbusters. The visual effects are top-notch, and the fact that it was all shot on film adds an additional entourage. And the soft romantic line between the main characters, looks vivid and organic, and only adds spice to the movie.

'Twisters' is definitely worth getting out in this unbearable heat of their home, and going to the nearest movie theater to get a bunch of positive emotions. It's an insanely entertaining ride with thrilling episodes, stunning effects and a little taste of 90s nostalgia.
