It would seem that all is well, live and be happy. You have a loving wife, two wonderful children, a job that certainly does not allow you to be bored. But in one unstoppable moment all this idyll collapses when the protagonist gets into a terrible car accident, during which he loses his right arm. Surgeon at the local hospital Dr. Webb persuades the victim's wife to consent to an experimental operation. As a result of which, the patient is sewn back on the arm that previously belonged to another donor. Gradually, Bill Krashnak (the protagonist) begins to feel that his newfound limb is attempting to live a separate life, slowly clouding the mind and subjugating its will. Further attempts to unravel the mystery of the donor's identity, leads the hero to stunning discoveries....
The movie flies by in one breath. Events are developing quite vigorously and rapidly, so you will not be bored. The acting of actors unknown to me (except, colorful Brad Dourif) does not want to give any obstruction. You believe them, where you need to - hate, and where you empathize. The story itself is quite simple, but it doesn't get worse, though there are no dashing plot twists, but the creators tried to pull off a few plot twists closer to the denouement.
Of the main minuses of the tape, I would note the incomprehensible motivation of the main antagonists, but unfortunately, because of possible spoilers I can not fully disclose my claim.
So, the feature film 'Body Parts' directed by Eric Reda is a bright representative of the 'forgotten' cinema of the 90s era with a cool plot, good acting and not bad visuals.
