The plot of the picture is as simple as possible. The main character - the head of a large company - has a relationship with a young guy and falls under his influence.
Another movie devoted to sex. The main character (Nicole Kidman) is in constant search of orgasm. She is aroused by everything that comes her way, from an elevator to a tie to milk.
Kidman is completely unconvincing in the role of a business lady and more like a housewife who happens to be at a business meeting or a meeting. Wherever she is, she looks foreign. This is a complaint against the costume designer.
But perhaps the reason is also that the heroine is revealed only from the lust side. Neither what kind of mother she is, nor what kind of wife she is, nor what interests she has, except sex - nothing! It's as if nothing else ever existed in her life.
The whole movie we only watch her masturbating, having sex or thinking of having sex.
And then in the middle of the movie she suddenly says: “My family means everything to me!” Really? You can't say that right off the bat.... And that's not a complaint about the heroine. It's a complaint about the director and screenwriter Halina Rein.
How the viewer can see a woman as a loving mother and spouse, when all the scenes with her husband are bed scenes, is incomprehensible.
It's strange that in a world where sex comes out of every crevice, the director hoped to interest the viewer in it. I understand that the bet was made on the naked Nicole and the age difference, but I do not believe that in 2025 anyone will like it. The picture is more likely to suffer the fate of “50 Shades of Gray” - increased interest at the start and low scores as a result.
In general, the tape is about the fact that suppressed desires once become uncontrollable. About power and its compensating subordination. About a stalker who gives no rest to his victim, only this time the “victim” likes it. About puppy play in BDSM. But only it is shown all this very and very flat.
The picture does not bring anything new and is nothing more than a set of erotic scenes that make you sleepy.
There is nothing to say about Antonio Banderas. He is just in this movie. In his place could have been any other actor of the right age.
There is probably no point in recommending to watch it or not - you will watch it anyway. That's what we're counting on.
