Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow 4K 2004

The first thing that comes to mind when you watch this movie is - beautiful. No, very beautiful. The special effects are beautiful. Or rather to say the whole movie is like one big special effect. The retro sci-fi stylization is brilliantly done.

The plot? Who expects something extraordinary from a comic book adaptation? That's right - no one. In short, the plot is as it should be in this genre. The acting - uh... Well. Quite good. Considering that everything was filmed against a blue screen, it's pretty good.

In my opinion, this movie should be considered as an experiment. And we should admit that the experiment was successful: now we know that Grandpa Lucas is not the only one who can shoot against the blue screen.
