A bright representative of the 'blaxploitation' genre that I've been so fond of lately.
Charismatic villains in lacquered shoes and stunning hats, scuffles in bars, pool parties, and pimp funerals, the pomp and vulgarity of which today's man can't help but smile (at that time, probably, it looked different...) - all this is here, of course, present. And among other things, there is a colorful Isaac Hayes - an excellent actor, father of twelve children, a famous musician, Chief from 'South Park', finally, and just 'a man and a truck'.
I should also mention the camerawork - it is truly magnificent. Unexpectedly for myself, I found there a lot of very originally shot scenes, from unusual angles, masterfully staged.
In general, I advise you to watch it and see for yourself how movies were made in the times when 'Jungle Boogie' sounded from every open window.
