DeepStar Six 4K 1989

A team of divers is completing six months of work on the construction of a special missile laboratory called “DeepStar Six,” commissioned by the military and located at the bottom of one of the world's oceans. Due to such a long stay underwater, the entire group is very tired and almost everyone's nerves are on edge. But no one's return to the surface is guaranteed when, as a result of the collapse of one of the deep caves, something more terrifying and dangerous than anything that darkness can hide in the depths of the ocean bursts out.

Another little-known sci-fi horror film from the late 1980s with a standard plot about a monster attacking a team of submariners (who haven't they attacked already?), made according to all the canons of the genre. Of course, you shouldn't expect anything new or supernatural from the film. But damn it, for some reason, the films of that era, even though they are monotonous and typical in some ways, are still pleasing to the eye.

Losing out to current films only in terms of special effects, but not losing its charm and appeal over time, DeepStar Six is still easy and natural to watch. Yes, it's simple (or is that just nitpicking?), but it's tasteful, and back then they didn't know how to shoot it any other way.
