When I was very young, just entering my teens, this was the number one movie. I remember how many people began to imitate the main characters; in general, it has the character of one of the cult films of the 90s.
Although we are given the title “Clueless,” it doesn't say much; you have to dig deeper.
Firstly, the idea originated a long time ago, paved the way for this film by Emma by J. Austen. Secondly, it is from here that the relationship between Cher and her stepbrother, her love of matchmaking, and everything positive, a kind of benchmark (only already in the 20th century), which Alicia Silverstone brought out incomparably, was taken.
Perhaps if it weren't for her touching, childishly naive, slightly funny, but certainly resourceful performance, this film would have been lost among many others. But that's hypothetical; it doesn't exist. The film exists, and that means it delights, touches, makes you think, dream, and always brings only positive emotions.
So let's follow Cher's imagination and escape into the world of sex, clothes, popularity... and while watching, let's think about what else we need.
