In my opinion, this is an excellent comedy on this theme. Films with young virgins are no longer interesting to watch (as usual: a few preoccupied teenagers trying to achieve that very thing).
Here, we have a not-so-young virgin who isn't really interested in intimacy. You have to admit that watching a movie with a not-so-young guy getting into teenage situations is way more fun because you can't predict how an adult will act.
If a teenager started doing short-sighted stupid things, then a 40-year-old didn't lose face, tried to do everything right, but somehow it didn't work out, which makes the film funny. As for the acting, everyone did a great job. The only downside is the ending. It's too simple and not quite strong enough for a conclusion.
