Combine Jim Carrey's inimitable facial expressions with computer special effects, and you get “The Mask,” a film that has long been considered a comedy classic. And what doesn't this comedian show us: he slides across the floor, changes his gait in literally every scene, moves his jaw, eyebrows, and everything else that a normal person is incapable of moving, and his incredible rumba dance under the barrels of guns is simply indescribable. However, this is only one side of the film — showing a man wearing the mask of the ancient Norse god Loki.
On the other hand, Jim shows his acting talent, which, without exaggeration, can be said to be God-given. Anyone can play a shy young man, but not everyone can do it THIS way, and this phrase: “Listen, Lieutenant, you've come at a bad time... Maybe you'd like to come in?” — who else could say that like Jim Carrey? In short, if you haven't seen this film yet, God forbid, then urgently remedy this omission.
