Shine 4K 1996

If you watched and liked the movie ‘Forrest Gump’, watch this one. It's hard to find, but the search will be rewarding. This movie has a much stronger impact than Forrest. It's a blockbuster, not just a movie! It grabs you from the first frame and doesn't let go until the end.

When the film ends, you can't wrap your head around how the director was able to tell a person's entire life story in an hour and a half. It feels like you've lived that life with him, from beginning to end.

It's no surprise that the film was nominated for so many Oscars, and it's puzzling, to say the least, why it only won one. Forget Titanic... Everything I've seen before seems like popcorn cinema in comparison to this film. In terms of its power, the film can probably only be compared to The Counterfeiters, which was recently released.
