The Garbage Pail Kids Movie 4K 1987

I first saw this fast-paced, vivid, and impressive film back in 1998, when I was still a kid and took everything at face value, as they say. The film made a big impression on me at the time, and I remembered it for a long time afterward, but I never got around to watching it again. The main characters of the film are funny guys who live in a garbage can. At first glance, they all look the same—dirty, unwashed, smiling slyly and squinting in the light. However, each of them is completely different in their qualities and behavior—some are calm and thoughtful, others are quick and restless, but together they are like a hurricane that sweeps away everything in its path, leaving behind trash and disorder.

These kids are so funny and cheerful that, as I remember now, from the opening credits, when I saw their heads peeking out from behind the tank, I wanted to play and have fun with them. And the film showed that they have the most exciting adventures, they get involved in such situations and dizzying problems that sometimes it was somehow uncomfortable to watch how each and every one of them would get out of these pressing problems. What else can I say? It's fun, entertaining, fast-paced, and, as always, unpredictable—that's how the bulk of the action and events in the film unfold and take place.

It's a pity, but for more than 10 years now, I haven't been able to find, watch, or even gather information about this interesting and vivid film, which is really worth the time and attention of every viewer. Dynamic, fast-paced, and simply heartfelt, this film is capable of interesting and delighting both children and adults alike, because the plot and development of the film touch on themes of friendship, good and evil, love and hate. Every person and viewer is able to determine and indicate what is closer and dearer to them in this film, because the references to fantasy refer to our real and very real world, in which these themes are touched upon and discussed every day, every hour...

Surprisingly, even though I was too young to discuss such serious topics at the time, something other than the spectacle and brightness remained, something memorable, which is why I am now able to recall, reflect on, and discuss the film and its storyline. It's surprising, but at the same time understandable. However, now that I have a more solid and mature view of these things, I would like to watch this film again, which is unlikely to disappoint or repel me, even if it doesn't live up to my expectations and spectacular memories.
