How can you not love a movie in which a man is killed with cornflakes? How can you not love a movie in which a blind director praises the actors for their good performance? After all, how can you not love a movie that grossed a thousand dollars at the box office?
The plot, in a nutshell, is as follows: a real maniac appears on the set of an independent film and kills all the members of the film crew. Naked women, drunk punks, cheerful guys, funny girls run around, the blind director, played by maestro Kaufman, taps his cane, and even the great Toxic Avenger graces the banquet with his presence. And there's blood everywhere, fake brains flying, and a guy running around with a cow's udder.
Everything is parodied in Boundless Terror. From the principles of “how to make an independent film” to everyday situations that everyone has encountered. All of this is presented with taste, imagination, and juicy subtext.
This is a film that makes you want to jump up and scream with delight. It is the apotheosis of vulgarity, utter nonsense, and obscenity. It is an incredibly talentless film. It is Troma. It is Lloyd Kaufman.
