Hood is the most dangerous fast-gunner in the West. He returns to the city of Blackstone to avenge his brother Charlie, who was lynched on charges of stealing money from a bank. It would be nice to find the money itself, because Charlie never said where he hid the cash.
A trivial Western plot, an ordinary hero: French singer Johnny Halliday tries on Clint Eastwood's dismissive calmness. Therefore, his image is not of particular interest. But the sheriff performed by Gastone Moschin is a very interesting and multifaceted personality. He forbids the residents of the city to carry weapons, and therefore will inevitably come into conflict with both Hood and the townspeople who would like to protect themselves from the "specialist". The situation is even more complicated with the appearance in the town of bandits led by the bloody revolutionary El Diablo and a gang of young ragamuffins. You must admit that it is impossible to remain neutral in such a situation!
The main disadvantage of the film is the lack of humor. A sharp joke has never been superfluous in a spaghetti western. Plus - a surreal denouement, which I will not mention.
When watching it, it should be borne in mind that due to the abundance of scenes of violence, the film was censored in many countries.
