An absolutely wonderful film, shot in the style of 'retro fiction' (this is happening in the future, but this future is stylized as the middle of the 20th century).

First of all, he is remarkable for his idea. Shown is a world in which there is no place for people born in love, and not in a test tube. The story of the protagonist is told, who 'does not save his energy on the way back' (quote from the film) and does everything to achieve his goal, to realize his dream!

The film is remarkable for its camera work. There is not a single extra frame in the film. Everything is very harmonious and beautiful.

It is remarkable for its incomparable music that penetrates into the depths of the soul.

The actors are great here too: Ethan Hawke (as the main character) and Uma Thurman with Jude Law. The roles seem to be 'stitched' on them.

The film may not be so dynamic, but it looks in the same breath. One of the best science fiction films in my memory! Super!
